Country-style Chicken Kiev

Equipment

  • 1 Sauce pan
  • 1 Baking dish

Ingredients
  

  • c Butter or margaine
  • ½ c Bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan xheese
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • ½ tsp Garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 4 halves Chicken breasts
  • ¼ c Apple juice
  • ¼ c Chopped green onion
  • 2 tbsp Chopped parsely

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • In 2 qt sauce pan melt butter
  • On large plate, combine bread crumbs, cheese, basil, oregano, garlic, and salt
  • Dip chicken in melted butter then roll into bread crumb mix.
  • Bak chicken skin side up in 9 in baking dish for 50-60 min
  • Meanwhile, add apple juice, green onions and parsley to remaining melted butter
  • When chicken is golden brown, pour butter sauce mixture over chcicken
  • Return to oven for 3-5 min more or just until sauce is hot.
  • Serve with sauce spooned over
