Country-style Chicken Kiev
Equipment
- 1 Sauce pan
- 1 Baking dish
Ingredients
- ⅔ c Butter or margaine
- ½ c Bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp Parmesan xheese
- 1 tsp Basil
- 1 tsp Oregano
- ½ tsp Garlic powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- 4 halves Chicken breasts
- ¼ c Apple juice
- ¼ c Chopped green onion
- 2 tbsp Chopped parsely
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375
- In 2 qt sauce pan melt butter
- On large plate, combine bread crumbs, cheese, basil, oregano, garlic, and salt
- Dip chicken in melted butter then roll into bread crumb mix.
- Bak chicken skin side up in 9 in baking dish for 50-60 min
- Meanwhile, add apple juice, green onions and parsley to remaining melted butter
- When chicken is golden brown, pour butter sauce mixture over chcicken
- Return to oven for 3-5 min more or just until sauce is hot.
- Serve with sauce spooned over
